He is known for prudent oversight of commodities and climate exposure, trade, liquidity, financial reporting, safety, and culture.
Craig is an independent director of Air Tractor, an ESOP designer and manufacturer of precision agricultural, firefighting, and special-use aircraft with robust growth in South America, Australia, Europe, Canada, and Africa. He also serves as a designated board observer at Advanced Ionics (industrial hydrogen electrolyzers).

Craig served from 2014 to 2018 as co-founder and board member of EcoCentri LLC, an early-stage provider of post-combustion emissions control (particulates, metals, SOx, NOx) and carbon capture. He served from 2005 to 2012 as President of OGE Energy Resources, the energy and environmental-products subsidiary of OGE Energy Corp. He realigned the company to optimize assets and provide risk management for fuels, emissions, and renewable energy. Beyond hedging, he worked to mitigate SOX, fugitive methane, and safety exposures. At the parent level (NYSE OGE), Craig chaired the Commodity Guidance Committee, served on the Corporate Risk Oversight Committee, and served on various committees overseeing safety, outreach and incentive compensation. Craig’s year of work and study in Italy during university led him to seek international postings.
From 1991-1997, Craig lived in Dhahran (KSA), where he led multi-disciplinary teams to develop geo-statistical and management tools for Aramco’s simulator POWERS, a successful implementation of massively parallel computation. At Mirant (now NRG), Craig held P&L roles in energy storage and international liquified natural gas (LNG) arbitrage. He founded Mirant’s weather-linked options business, a provider of tailored risk management products. At FEA (now Allegro), Craig prototyped and sold the market-leading software for valuation and risk management of energy storage.
His publications, presentations, product support, and personal connections drove sales in the US and Canada. Craig’s prior boards include OGE Energy Resources, National Energy Services Association, PWA, Angel Flight (Chair Safety & Tech Committees), and Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics (Chair Finance Committee). Craig is a speaker and author on energy, ESG, and risk topics. He co-authored articles for the Directors and Chief Risk Officers Group on compensation and risk committee issues, was invited to speak at NACD Summit 2020, and was named to Private Company Director magazine’s Directors to Watch 2019. He is NACD Directorship CertifiedTM, an NACDBoard Leadership Fellow, and an ACCD Master Professional Director. Craig earned an MS Computational & Applied Math from UT Austin, an M.Eng. Offshore Engineering from Cal Berkeley, and a BSME from Stanford. His curiosity drives ongoing university courses in energy, climate, finance, trade, technology, cryptography, and cybersecurity (https://AwlBiz.com/courses.htm).
His deep empathy for employees and other stakeholders is strengthened by international work and travel, career-spanning operational safety efforts, employee-ownership oversight, and his recent front-line experience at Envoy Air.
