Ingvild A. Sørensen is Senior Manager of Strategic Development at the United Nations Global Compact in New York. Ingvild’s role includes the development of the UN Global Compact’s programme portfolio, partnerships and supporting leading global companies across a range of industry sectors in their efforts to innovate and achieve higher levels of sustainability performance in support of the Sustainable Development Goals. In this capacity she also leads UN Global Compact’s CEO and Board engagement efforts designed to improve and accelerate the integration of sustainability at the highest level. Prior to joining the UN Global Compact, Ingvild worked at the Permanent Mission of Norway to the UN, the UN Department of Public Information in New York, and at Procter & Gamble. Ingvild holds an MSc degree in Advanced Management Practices from the University of Bath, and a BSc degree in International Marketing and Management from BI Norwegian Business School and the University of Mannheim.
