Mahesh (Mah-hesh) is the UK Director & Global Lead Net Zero, Capital Markets at CDP. He and his team work with Financial Institutions in corporate engagement on environmental data, Net Zero strategies and the Science Based Targets initiative for Financial Institutions. He represents CDP on the steering committee of GFANZ and the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative as well as leading the UNFCCC’s Marrakech Partnership ‘Climate Action Pathway for Finance’.
Prior to joining CDP Mahesh spent over 15 years working in banking and finance, most recently as a director at Macquarie Group with roles including Head of Healthcare and Head of Financial Services. He has an MBA, Energy from Cranfield University, and a Dip. Financial Services from the Financial Services Institute of Australia
